We had a great week, we made it to Silver Dollar City 3 times! The kids really enjoyed it. It's been 15 years since Peter and I were there last so it was interesting to see how much it has changed. The kids are looking forward to going back sometime this summer (we will have to figure out how to fit that into the schedule).
We are looking forward to going back to I love America again this year for the 4th! We had a really good time last year. They have tons of stuff for the kids to do and their fireworks display was great. Hopefully it won't be too terribly hot!
Peter and I are hoping to get away for a couple days for our anniversary this weekend. It is really hard to believe it has been 15 years! I guess that's a good thing for it to seem like less! One of these days we are going to have a second honeymoon, but I have plans for something much better than the Branson honeymoon we had the first time around (wink...Stephanie I hope you still want us to visit you in Hawaii). Anyways, it doesn't matter where we go or what we do as long as we get to spend some time together, something that is getting harder and harder to do these days.

And the chaos begins!
So here is a glimpse into our crazy life:
me: I have a little over 2 weeks till ultrasound school starts. It 40 hours a week OJT plus book work on my own at home. I will continue to work my 20 hours a week once I start (which includes every weekend). So in 2 weeks I will be at the hospital 7 days a week for a total of 60 hours a week......ugh I'm tired already. However, I am extremely grateful for the opportunity, it was one I never expected to get. I don't have to pay any tuition and I get a stipened from the hospital while in school....how awesome is that! I have picked up a ton of hours this month so I feel like I have a lot of stuff to catch up on at home before I start school. I am really going to miss being home with Addyson in the mornings, but I think she is really going to enjoy daycare and having lots of friends to play with.
Peter: Just started summer semester at MSU working on his Master's. He also has been greatly blessed with a school opportunity we couldn't turn down. The VA is paying for him to get his Master's so he will be a certified teacher! He is also working at Kraft Foods which has turned out to be a really great job.
Kody: just started summer conditioning for Parkview High School Football. He has really suprised me with his commitment to his team. He played football for the 1st time this spring and he really liked it. He never compains about the workout and in fact does not like to miss at all. He is proving to me he is going to be able handle to demands of the Airforce Academy. I really thought he would give up once it got physically tough and really hot outside, but to my suprise he has not once complained. He is turning into a mature young man and I am extremely proud of him. I can't believe he is going into high school this year, seems like just yesterday we were sending him to kindergarten.
Corbin and Reese: are playing baseball. They really love it! And they have both inproved a lot from last year. Corbin pitches and catches, he is a really great catcher and I hope he continues to play this position. He pitches well too, he just play catcher on another level from the rest of the kids. Reese is working on learning to pitch, and also plays catcher. He is already improving at both after just the first 3 weeks. He is the fastest runner we have. He loves to run, hopefully we will find a track team to get involved with. Corbin is really excited about going to WOLF next year. It's a great 5th grade option here. There is a lottery drawing to get in and he was 1 of 46 out of about 200! They do all of their learning in an outdoor environment. They take lots of field trip and hikes to learn about nature and animals. He is really excited, I have never seen him look forward to summer being over and going back to school, but he is this year!
Addyson: is getting so big! She will be starting daycar in a couple weeks for the first time in a year. I found a provider right down from the house that takes care of 3 other little girls her age so I think she will really like it. We went to check it out and she didn't want to leave!

Wow how time flies
Ok so I know I said I would post more often, then I look and see my last post was in Novemeber. UGHHH, time flies. So since my last post we had a wonderful Christmas, Kody had his 14th birthday (man I feel old) and Addyson turned 2. We are still loving it here in Mo, even though it is a little cold. It has really been nice to invite family to birthday parties and all that. I am glad we can see everyone on a regular basis instead of 1 or 2 times a year. We even got to see our new niece when she was born! She is cute and tiny....makes me miss mine being babies.
Peter is looking for a job that will actually allow him to see his family more than 1 day a week. I am still at the hospital, I really love my job there. I work with really great people and it's nice to work part-time for a change. I am currently looking into the possibility of cross-training ultrasound at the hospital. They are really great about offering different opportunities to train and learn new modalities. I am also stil helping out at the flower shop. That's been fun and interesting. It's really been great to learn something new and different from anything I've ever done. Carrie is much better at it, but I am ok. I am good at the everyday stuff, but Carrie is the one that can do all the comtemporary designs and funky stuff, I don't have enough of the artsy vision for all that.
The boys are looking forward to baseball season, it starts a little later here. Kody is signed up to play spring football and has been trying to beef up in the gym. They are all doing well in school, I am so glad the move was such an easy transition for them.
Well I guess that all for now, I will try to get on here soon and post some new pics!
