Pulling up now!!
Addyson is pulling up on furniture now. She really started this like a week after she started crawling. She is trying to walk around the coffee table now. I am sure I will be posting to tell you very soon she is walking. I am putting her christmas tutu picture up. I took it for a photo contest but I couldn't submit it because the file was too large. Oh well.....she would have won for sure!!

She's crawling!!
Ms. Jean called me from daycare last week and said Addyson is getting on her hands and knees and trying to crawl. She was also trying to sit herself up when she was lying on the floor. The last few days she has been getting on her hands and knees and trying to figure out how to go. You can tell she is really thinking about what she needs to do next. Last night she moved both hands and knees forward before falling to her tummy. I got a short video of her and I will try to post it later. We are telling the boys to keep everything up 'cause she is starting to get into stuff. Oh and by the way no "mama" yet. She does say "dada" but usually only when she is crying.

Addyson's first trip to the zoo!
Addyson went to the zoo for the first time on Sunday. We had a great time even though it was crowded. The boys enjoyed showing Addyson all the animals...she didn't pay much attention though. The boys got to feed the mini horse and goats and I guess since they have never lived on a farm they thought it was fun.

Addyson's first day at school
Addyson went to day care for the first time yesterday. They said she did okay. She didn't cry when I handed her over. Mrs. Jean said she cried every time one of the other kids cried. But she ate well and took 3 naps (cat naps). Peter said she was really excited to see him when he got there. Today when I dropped her off she puckered up a little bit, but was okay when she got in the room with the other kids. The boys are still doing good in school, although they weren't very happy about riding the bus everyday (I don't know why they hate the bus so much). I just told them it's part of life, some times you just have to ride the school bus.

Tropical Storm
Well we dodged another one. We were right in the path of Tropical Storm Fay, yet somehow it completely missed us. We closed early on Friday so we could get home and make preparations (they were also worried about the bridges shutting down). So I got home early and we got ready for the storm.....and then we waited and waited and waited. And absolutely nothing. Barely any rain. But we had a good time. Carrie and Brian came over and stayed Friday night due to the fact if the bridges close they are stuck. They brought Dance Dance revolution and the kids had a blst with it. Today (Monday) we are actually getting some rain. It has been storming pretty bad but we are not expecting any flooding like they had down south. Hopefully that will be it for the season. We need to sell our house!!

Back to school
The boys returned to school on Monday. So far we have had no meltdowns which seems too good to be true. Corbin has never been a fan of school, but ever year it is a little easier for him. This year has been the first year we didn't hear him cry and whine about not wanting to go. Hopefully he has a teacher that will continue to work with him as much as his teachers last year. Reese and Kody love school so there are never any complaints from them. I think they were both ready to go back (they were a little bored). Peter is anxiously waiting for a phone call about a teaching job with the prison. He got an offer earlier this week to be a juvenile counselor but he has not given them an answer yet (he's holding out for the teaching job). Addyson is still a mess. She grows everyday and it's hard to believe she was ever 5 pounds. She is too long for her 3 month and even some of her 6 month sleepers now, but she can still wear a 0-3 month in the waist so I think it's going to be hard to find her pants this winter. We are expecting teeth any day with all the drool.

Isn't she so sweet!!!

She thinks she is hot stuff sitting like a big girl in her Bumbo Chair!

I think she's ready to get out of the chair!

Modeling her sock monkey jammies Aunt Carrie got her!!

Peter's Graduation

Well it's finally over........we are both done with school (for now anyway). Peter's graduation ceremony was yesterday in Tallahassee. We dropped him off at the civic center at 8:00 am and went to grab some breakfast since we couldn't get in until around 9:00 am. Traffic wasn't too bad when we dropped him off (it only took us about 10 minutes to get from the hotel to the civic center). So we ran to the Mc Donalds about 3 miles away thinking we've got plenty of time to get back. But we were wrong. It took us about 45 minutes to go 3 miles. We had to circle the civic center follow traffic past about 3 parking garages to finally get to one that had openings. Luckily it was only about a 1/4 mile walk and walking was 10 times faster than driving was.
The ceremony was really nice. There were about 1,500 graduates and by their count 15,000 people in the stands. They got through it pretty quick considering how many graduates there were. It lasted about 2 1/2 hours. I think Peter is glad he walked. He wasn't really planning to until a couple people from school talked him in to it. I think he is looking forward to getting his masters now (although he has to go to work before he can start on that).
So anyway here are the pics from graduation. I wish you all could have been there. It was a very proud moment and a huge accomplishment for him considering he did all of this with 4 kids at home!!

Bossy Bossy
I guess Addyson thinks she rules the roost. She has been kind of bossy with her toys for a while now. She talks to them and out of the blue she will smack them and yell. She now yells at the boys too. She definitely lets us know she is around. I guess with 3 big brothers she will probably be a pretty tough cookie.
