Well it's finally over........we are both done with school (for now anyway). Peter's graduation ceremony was yesterday in Tallahassee. We dropped him off at the civic center at 8:00 am and went to grab some breakfast since we couldn't get in until around 9:00 am. Traffic wasn't too bad when we dropped him off (it only took us about 10 minutes to get from the hotel to the civic center). So we ran to the Mc Donalds about 3 miles away thinking we've got plenty of time to get back. But we were wrong. It took us about 45 minutes to go 3 miles. We had to circle the civic center follow traffic past about 3 parking garages to finally get to one that had openings. Luckily it was only about a 1/4 mile walk and walking was 10 times faster than driving was.
The ceremony was really nice. There were about 1,500 graduates and by their count 15,000 people in the stands. They got through it pretty quick considering how many graduates there were. It lasted about 2 1/2 hours. I think Peter is glad he walked. He wasn't really planning to until a couple people from school talked him in to it. I think he is looking forward to getting his masters now (although he has to go to work before he can start on that).
So anyway here are the pics from graduation. I wish you all could have been there. It was a very proud moment and a huge accomplishment for him considering he did all of this with 4 kids at home!!
